DEPKA advantages
Suitable for any surface
A newly built brick wall, an old gypsum surface or a wooden panel: for cotton plaster, all you need is a dry, clean surface.

One product, many surfaces
DEPKA cotton wall plaster is applied as a paste and adheres well to the surface once dry. This means it can be used not only on plastered walls but also on different materials such as wood, metal, glass and plastic.
As well as interior walls, it can be applied to ceilings. On natural surfaces, simply remove the dust; on painted surfaces a primer is recommended.

On ceilings too
Cotton plaster is a lightweight coating and is easy to apply to ceilings as well. Ceiling beams, suspended ceiling bands and ceiling roses can be picked out in different colours.
A ceiling application also contributes to thermal and sound insulation.
Surfaces that need preparation or are not suitable
- Wallpaper: must be stripped.
- Poor-quality, water-soluble paint: must be removed; otherwise the paint will bleed into the cotton plaster.
- Exterior walls: cotton plaster is an interior product. For facades, see shell plaster and exterior insulating plaster.
- Surfaces directly exposed to water: talk to us.

About surfaces
Can cotton plaster be applied over tiles?
Yes. It can be applied to ceramic, tiled and marble surfaces; the surface just needs to be dry and clean.
Can it be applied over wallpaper?
We do not recommend it. Strip the wallpaper and clean the surface before application; paper and paste that dissolve in water can damage the coating.
Can it be applied to exterior walls?
No, cotton plaster is made for interior walls and ceilings. For facades, shell plaster is the right choice.
