The warmth of cotton on your walls
A decorative wall coating made from 100% natural cotton, available in 60 main colours. It gives you decoration and insulation in a single layer, needs no primer and is easy to repair, even years later.

What is cotton plaster
Neither paint nor plaster: a new generation of cotton wall coating
DEPKA cotton wall plaster is a 100% natural decorative wall coating for interiors, made from cotton, natural adhesive and decorative natural stones. It comes ready to mix in the pack: simply add warm water and spread it on the wall with the transparent Depka trowel.
It can be applied to surfaces such as concrete, gypsum plaster, plasterboard, brick, wood, glass, metal and stone. Once dry, it leaves a breathable, warm-textured surface that does not crack.
If you have been looking at liquid wallpaper or silk plaster, DEPKA is a natural alternative: it contains no polystyrene or synthetic fillers.
Fewer materials, less labour
One product instead of seven layers
Instead of base plaster, finishing plaster, gypsum, satin gypsum, primer, paint and wallpaper: just Depka cotton plaster. It can be applied directly once the wall is built.

Frequently asked questions
Is cotton plaster the same as silk plaster?
No. The ingredients of products sold as silk plaster vary from brand to brand. DEPKA cotton plaster contains only cotton, natural adhesive and decorative natural stone, with no polystyrene or synthetic fillers. For more detail, read our full comparison.
How many square metres does one pack cover?
1 kg of product covers 3.5–4 m², so a 2 kg pack is enough for about 7–8 m². For an exact quantity, use the coverage calculator.
How much does it cost, and is shipping free?
Cotton plaster costs 1,600 TL per 2 kg pack (800 TL per kg). You order by number of packs (2, 4, 6, 8 kg and so on), with free shipping within Türkiye. Orders are placed on depkamarket.com or via WhatsApp. These are Türkiye prices; for export orders, please contact us.
Do I need a primer?
Not on most surfaces; it can be applied directly once the wall has been built. Poor-quality paint or wallpaper that dissolves in water should be removed first, and a primer is recommended on painted surfaces.
How do I repair damage?
Moisten the area with water, wait a little and smooth it with a flat-based glass or plastic trowel. Because the colour does not change, the repair does not show.
