DEPKA advantages
Quick and easy to apply
A single application of cotton plaster instead of layer upon layer of plaster, gypsum, primer and paint. Preparation takes less than an hour and the surface dries in 12–24 hours.

Where the time savings come from
With the conventional method, each layer is applied separately and has to dry before you can move on to the next. Because DEPKA cotton wall plaster can take the place of base plaster, finishing plaster, gypsum, primer and paint on its own, these waiting times disappear.
The product comes ready in its pack and is simply mixed with warm water. Once applied, it dries in 12–24 hours depending on the weather. No sanding, no second coat and no paint.
For faster drying
Ventilate
Keep the room ventilated until the applied area is dry.
Use a fan
To speed up drying, you can run a fan from a distance.
Mind the weather
Drying takes longer in damp, cold weather.
You can store leftover mix in a cool place and use it within 24 hours, so if you need to split the job over two days, no product goes to waste. We explain how to carry on from where you left off without leaving a mark on the easy application page.
About timing
How long does cotton plaster take to dry?
It dries in 12–24 hours, depending on the weather. Ventilation speeds up drying.
How long does preparation take?
20–25 minutes of mixing, 20 minutes of resting and another 5 minutes of mixing: about 45–50 minutes in total. The longer it rests, the easier it is to apply.
Is anything else needed once it is dry?
No. Because cotton plaster comes ready-coloured, it needs no paint or second coat once dry; the surface is finished as it is. You can see all 60 colours on the colour chart.
