Shell plaster is also known as flake plaster, ceramic plaster and granite plaster. Made from ceramic-based flakes and high-strength acrylic resin, it gives a facade the look of a single slab of granite fixed to the wall.

Set contents and coverage
Shell plaster is sold as a set. The 20 kg set contains an 11 kg bag of shell plaster, a lubricating and binding polymer, a milky emulsion that acts as the adhesive, and shell plaster primer.
One set covers about 18–20 m². Send us your facade measurements and we can work out together how many sets you need.
It is applied over the primer with a steel trowel; do not apply it when the air temperature is below 5 °C. You'll find the preparation steps and technical details on the shell plaster page.

About facade coatings
Are shell plaster, ceramic plaster and granite plaster the same product?
Yes. DEPKA shell plaster is also known as flake plaster, ceramic plaster and granite plaster. There is also a separate product, crystal ceramic plaster, with a flake finish in 16 colours; it is likewise used on facades and interiors.
How many m² does one set of shell plaster cover?
One 20 kg set covers about 18–20 m².
Which product should I choose for my facade?
For a decorative granite-look finish, choose shell plaster; for a flake finish, crystal ceramic plaster. If heat and sound insulation is your priority, see exterior insulating plaster. DEPKA cotton plaster is for interior walls and ceilings only; you'll find our interior options on the interior wall coatings page.
