Plaster and paint in one product
DEPKA cotton plaster is a new-generation interior decoration product based on 100% natural cotton. On the pack it is described as "Cotton Wall Coating Material" and, in Turkish, as pamuk boya sıva (cotton paint plaster): when the product is combined with water in the right proportion, it is ready to use and gives the wall both colour and texture.
It can be applied to surfaces such as concrete, gypsum, plasterboard, wood, marble plaster, glass, plastic, stone, satin paint and metal.
The difference from paint is that the colour is built into the product itself: no separate coat of paint goes on the wall, the colour does not fade and repaired areas do not show.
Instead of paint
From rough plaster to paint, one product
It can be applied directly once the wall has been built. It can replace rough plaster, fine plaster, gypsum, satin gypsum skim, primer and paint altogether; the choice is yours.

Frequently asked questions
Can cotton plaster be applied to a painted wall?
Yes. It can be applied over paints that do not dissolve in water; on painted surfaces, a primer is recommended. Low-quality, water-soluble paints must be removed first.
Is cotton plaster more expensive than paint?
The material cost is roughly 200–230 TL per m². Because you do not need extra layers such as gypsum, primer and paint, and because it saves energy, the overall cost comes down.
What if I want to change the colour?
Cotton plaster can be removed from the surface by moistening it, and the new colour is then applied. Details: reusable.
