One family, several names
Ceramic plaster, leaf plaster, shell plaster and granite plaster all refer to stone-look coatings in which ceramic-based particles are bound together with an acrylic binder. These coatings adhere strongly to the surface, and their flexible structure covers any cracks that may form.
DEPKA offers two products in this family: crystal ceramic plaster with a leaf pattern, and shell plaster for interiors and facades. Unlike cotton plaster, which is made for interiors only, both can also be applied to exterior facades.

Crystal ceramic (leaf) plaster
Fired ceramic leaves
Micronised ceramic powder is brought to a paint-like consistency in the chosen colour and fired at high temperature to produce ceramic leaves. The leaves are sized, blended in set colour ratios and made into a mortar with an acrylic binder, ready to apply to the wall.
Compositions of natural granite colours give the surface a granite look. Crystal ceramic plaster comes in 16 colours (DP-S01–DP-S16) and costs 2,400 TL. This is the Türkiye price; for export orders, please contact us.

Shell plaster
A seamless granite look on the facade
Shell plaster is made from high-strength acrylic resin and ceramic-based shell fragments. Because it carries the main colours of granite and marble, it makes a facade look as if a single slab of granite had been cut and fixed to it.
The shell texture covers cracks, and its flexible structure withstands the deformation caused by movement in the building. A 20 kg set covers 18–20 m². Please contact us for the price.

How to prepare and apply ceramic plaster
Below is the general method for preparing and applying ceramic-based plasters. Get the details for your product from us when you order; the shell plaster set is explained step by step in our ceramic plaster guide.
- 01
Prepare the surface
Repair any damaged areas. Prime the surface with an acrylic primer in the colour of the plaster and let the primer dry for 24 hours.
- 02
Prepare the liquid
Pour clean tap water into a large plastic bucket, add the powder additive from the pack and mix quickly.
- 03
Add the leaves and binder
Pour the leaves into the mix and soak them thoroughly. Add the binder little by little to form a mortar; if it is too thick, thin it with water until it spreads easily.
- 04
Rest and apply
Let the mortar rest for about half an hour, then apply it to the surface with a plastic or steel trowel.
