Super mixed colours
The 60 base colours are only a starting point. Bring two or more of them together and you get speckled, veined or marble-effect textures that are entirely your own.
What is a mixed colour
Every DEPKA base colour is a separate product. A mixed colour is a texture created either by blending several base colours while they are dry, or by combining separately prepared batches on the wall. Our ready-made mixed colours carry the DPK code.
On this page you'll find multicolour mixes of our cotton wall plaster applied in different projects. To see the method step by step, go to the mixed colour application page.
Tips
Four tips for mixed colours
The dry-mixing and on-the-wall methods are explained step by step on the mixed colour application page.
Choose a base colour
Pick one main colour to make up most of the mix and let the others act as accents.
Make a sample first
Try the proportions on a small sample panel and note down the ratio of the mix you like.

A mix needs the same amount as a single colour: 1 kg of product covers 3.5–4 m².
Explore →Add some sparkle
Mix in mica flakes or glitter to give the textured finish a shimmer.

About mixed colours
How many colours can be mixed?
There's no limit: you can combine any of the 60 base colours. The more colours you use, the more important it is to test the proportions on a sample first.
Can cotton plaster give a multicolour silk plaster look?
Blending the base colours gives you a multicolour, textured surface, similar to the look many people search for as liquid wallpaper. DEPKA cotton plaster is not silk plaster, though: it is made of cotton, a natural adhesive and decorative natural stone.
